Film on the Farm

We are AT CAPACITY for this event. If you’d like to organize a private screening for a small group, please contact kelly@themushroom.farm for more information.

A socially-distant outdoor screening of “Kiss the Ground”

An afternoon and evening experience on The Mushroom Farm with workshops by Ryland Engelhart, Doniga Markegard and The Mushroom Farm team. We’ll screen the full-length documentary that unearths the truth about our industrial agricultural system and its devastating impact on our environment.

The film sheds light on an alternative approach to farming called “regenerative agriculture” that has the potential to balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world. At The Mushroom Farm screening, in addition to the film, we’re excited to share:

  • Tours of our regenerative-organic, no-till garden

  • An introduction to regenerative grazing with Doniga Markegard

  • Q&A with Ryland Engelhart, Executive Director of Kiss the Ground

  • Immersive experiences

  • Inspiring talks on fire restoration and remediation practices

  • Live music from talented local artists: Driftr, and David Satori of Dirtwire

  • A chance to connect with your local Bay Area regenerative community

Kiss the Ground is a 501(c)3 increasing societal awareness about the extraordinary benefits of healthy soil. They educate millions of people across the globe and provide pathways for everyone to participate in the movement. Through their Stewardship and Farmland programs, they directly support farmers and their adoption of regenerative agriculture and cultivate leaders who can implement change at a community level and within the key sectors of business, policy, media, and education. KTG also creates inspiring media, strong partnerships, and shift policy.

As the Kiss the Ground Northern CA Outpost, The Mushroom Farm is excited to share integrated solutions for our broken agricultural system and climate crisis, reconnecting our visitors to their relationship with soil.
